One more attempt to catch up

This is the SHORT version.

Packed everything up including 4 cats, drove 7 hours to suburb of Chicago. Cats being transported went pretty darn well. Nice hotel, no confirmation of enrollment from Italy and it's late Wed and no consulate til we get it. If they don't get it in MN by Thursday I am going to have to drive the 14 hours there and back to get it on Friday to bring Monday. That is 4 days before we leave and is really pushing it.

Weather is great here, went to Six Flags, it rained and we should have saved our money. Cats are all fine in hotel, though Kitty wants out badly. We go into Chicago tomorrow to get haircuts, color and makeup at a salon that was rated #1 in Chicago by some magazine. It's on a street that is blocked off because they are filming a movie with Will Farrell, Dustin Hoffman, Maggie Glyllyhall(sp) and someone else, so hopefully we will have to ask permission to go through and also be able to watch them make the movie. Maybe our names are on a list!!!
Excuse me.... Diana and Jessica Ortega............. Right this way Ms Ortega... (they open the barriers and let us through, making the crowd wonder who we are) *LOLOLOL* yeah right... *s* ok, all caught up on the blog as far as I am concerned. :-)
