THANK GOD FOR MOTHERS!!!!!!!!

Ok please, I would like every one of you to post a comment thanking my mother for being there and being generous enough to save our butts again! I can't really explain how and why she did it, but you will have to trust me, short of giving up a kidney she made the ultimate sacrifice so that we were able to stay here, get back and forth to our jobs, find an apartment etc. All I am asking of you who read this is to put an anoymous comment on this blog thanking her....

I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!! thank you for being there for us.... nothing I can say will truly express how thankful I m that you have been there behind us!!!!!!!!

Both Jess and I received a call today saying that we have been apporved to work before we even go to orientation on Monday, so tomorrow morning we go in, fill out paperwork, and start our respective jobs at Subway and Taco Bell. LOL

Should be a lot of fun to be busy again, and be around people esp those that speak English!

That is all for now, bye! (mom, to read any comments, just click on the number of comments at the end of this blog.)

Diana's Mother: Thanks for whatever you may have done to keep this going, but I must confess that I am getting much more out the ridiculousness than admiration of this 'adventure'.

Diana:
Does it seem strange to go through all of this in order to sling sandwhiches and tacos at an American military base? From reading the posts these last several months I understand the progression of how it happened, but when does this adventure have a point, a purpose? Is it that it does not need a purpose? I know that working in the fast food industry is based on survival insticts and necessities, and I admire the notion of 'doing what you have to', but beyond the day-to-day struggles, what is the greater purpose to which you strive?

Moms are the best.

Maybe the greater purpose is to enjoy life away from your little cubicle and live a simpler life. humm? The Mom...

You ROCK! Mom! And to the person who posted about a 'greater purpose' what is yours? To live well and die? Isn't that all of ours? And Diana is trying to do just that.... Well mostly the living well part and who are we to say that slinging sandwiches and tacos at a military base in Germany is not that for her?

I can understand the taco job if she were doing it on her own dime, but when her Mom and other people have to keep bailing her out maybe it is time for this adventure to be over. I think anonymous said what a lot of us are thinking.
